I play for beer once a week and I hold the scoring record in every pub I know that has a dart board. Plus I haven't lost a game in three years. Do you think I should try it professionally?

It would make me happy but I'm not sure how easy it would be to do or whether I am good enough.

Go to some tournaments and test yourself against the "best of the best." Sometimes being good in a local setting does not translate into being world-class.

You MIGHT be good enough, but start at a local tournament. It's usually only $10 - $20 to enter a singles event. While there you'll meet some of the top players in the country. Talk to them. Most of them are very friendly.

In order to play darts for a living, you'll have to have a sponsor. The prize money in darts is not that great.

If you think you can do it and it will make you happy go for it.

However if you don't want to jump in both feet first why not start up a pub team and join a darts league first and then take it from there.

this is prestige. think of approximately it, those men spend 0.5 their time in bars. maximum dart gamers are eccentric or perfectionists. i be attentive to because of the fact I performed in a league, the final gamers continually had this inheritor approximately them. Like their **** did no longer stink. All that and clearly, in the event that they're expert dart gamers they're problem to an excellent style of hand photos. some want to exhibit symbols on their rings.

When considering what to do with the rest of your life, I find it really helpful to consider the following quote: "Do what you love and the money will follow." I don't know who said it but I think it is a really good motto.

If you're as good as you say, then what do you have to lose?

Go for it, and if it doesn't work out, go back to whatever it is you do now, but whatever you do, do it because it's fun and you enjoy it, otherwise, what's the point!
