In the G-Unit video for "Poppin Them Thangs" the word VMA was censored. In the Freeway video fo "Flipside", Jay-Z's shirt was blurred. In MTV Punk'd, Allen Iverson's entrourage's shirt was blurred. In the video for "Drop It Like It's Hot", Pharell's sneakers were blurred. They never show a gun in a music video but they are always shown in a movie trailer. In the Memphis Bleek video for "Round Here", they censored the word "snow". I know they were talking about cocaine but who would have figured that out? What was stitched on the clothing that made it so offensive? Why is saying VMA bad? Why are firearms blurred when it is an American constitutional right? How come non-profane words are muted just because it subtley makes a reference to drugs?
