I think the BBC has it's place, it has great impartial news and has made some of the best documenteries in the world over the years: E.g: The Blue Planet, Walking With Dinaours and the Human Series.
But the TV licence is outdated and too expensive. How should the BBC be cut down to size?
Why should we have to pay for the BBC World Service? We're not an Empire anymore?
Do we need all these radio stations/ TV channels and internet site.
Where could they save money or where would advertising be acceptable?
N.B. To people outside the UK: The BBC is paid for by each and every UK citizen in the form of a TV licence (about 100pounds or 180 USD) which has to be paid annually.
