Went to Florida in 93 and went to the Nickelodeon studios at one of the theme parks there. We got to taste the goo that was used on the shows they did and it was custard that they dyed various colours. They also added lumps of pineapple and apple to give it a bit more of a lumpy look.
It tasted delicious!!

As Zeggy said above, the goo was pudding, just colored green... it was very good, too! While in Florida, at Universal Studios, we watched it get made, and then got to eat it. You gotta try it! ; )
