You: Not really, I was carsick and throwing up in the bushes outside of Applebees.

Me: Well let me tell you, it was a great time. I can't belive you don't remember.

You: I just said, I was sick and a little busy getting a second look at that mega box of Nerds you dared me to eat in 5 minutes.

Me: I don't know why you took that bet. I only wagered the 47 cents I found in the cup holder.

You: You know I can't turn down a bet. That's the only reason I married your sister.

Does it bug you when you are in a public space and someone is on their cell phone?

I was on the bus yesterday. This lady behind me gets a call and says "Yea, I'm going to the doctors right now...(pause).... Yea i started leaking and then i called the doctor thinking my water broke, but the doctor said it was discharge......"

Now did I want to hear that after lunch? No. But what about you?

I mean it sounds stupid to want to have privacy in public, but just think about it.

Arent personal conversations better left for face-to-face meetings or on the phone in private?

Have you ever been on a bus or in a doctors office and had someone get a call and start talking to this person as if they were in the room? Or they talk about things that they should be talking about in private?
