I was on the bus yesterday. This lady behind me gets a call and says "Yea, I'm going to the doctors right now...(pause).... Yea i started leaking and then i called the doctor thinking my water broke, but the doctor said it was discharge......"

Now did I want to hear that after lunch? No. But what about you?

I mean it sounds stupid to want to have privacy in public, but just think about it.

Arent personal conversations better left for face-to-face meetings or on the phone in private?

Have you ever been on a bus or in a doctors office and had someone get a call and start talking to this person as if they were in the room? Or they talk about things that they should be talking about in private?

Really "BY ME"? Do you honestly think ppl have the right to do whatever it is they want? You think its alright to discuss things like OBGYN visits and strange rashes in public?

DeeDee I agree, A lady here in Toronto gave the YMCA hell for asking her to cover-up or leave the pool deck to breast feed b/c there were kids around (apparently she wasn't being discreet about it)

And she got angry.... all she had to do was go into the change room to breast feed her child.... That's all!

No, and I don't feel guilty eavsdropping either...if they want to have their lives made public, who am I to deny them. I love just staring at them with an "interested" in what they're saying look on my face. Makes for great conversations!

It bugs the hell out of me when ppl talk on their cells while they're driving.. but i think ppl in public sometimes purposely talk loud enough for everyone to hear, so that when someone says something about it, they can say "why are you listening to my conversation??".. i think those ppl are bored with themselves and have nothing better to do..

Oh yeah ,it kinda bugs me to . The worst is when they start giggling continuously and say Oh My God all the time. I had this girl fallowing me around in the store with my kids cussing like a truck driver and saying nasty things. It took everything out of me to not rip her phone out of her hand ,a step on it.

I've always believed that there is a right place for everything. And talking about things like that out in public is definitely not right.

I think it's rude as hell if they aren't talking about anything good but when they are having an argument or something I'm all for it.

I hate it. Especially when they're on a wireless headset, because then it looks like they are talking to themselves.

We really didn't need to know that your water broke, lady.
