My dad made me suffer through 45 minutes of jazz this morning. Am I crazy for hating jazz to the very pit of my stomach?

Nope, I find Jazz to be far less structured than any other type of music and that's why I hate it too. It give me a headache ;)

I personally love Jazz.. However country music makes me ill so I know how ya feel! Like, it makes me nauseous when I have to listen to it for any length of time. I feel your pain.

Nope. I've never learned to like it either. Your dad is hoping you will like the same kind of music as he does so you can share the experience and because he thinks he'll be giving you good taste. My parents have been trying to get me to like country music my whole life and I'm an adult and I still don't care for country music.
