have you noticed alot of hitchhikers lately? I have seen an average of one a day which is alot here. Usually we see one a week. They seem to be 20 somethings guys and they seem to be traveling to the east which is weird because this time of year usually has them going west to the warmer coast before the nasty weather sets in. I haven't had much trouble with them yet as I have two very large aggressive dogs. The guys usually keep going when they see them fenced in here. Has anyone else noticed this?? I put this question here because I didn't know where else to post it.

What is the better career choice: Underwriting or Human Resources?

I have my bachelors degree in management with an HR focus. I currently have an AWFUL HR job (mostly awful due to my coworkers). There is a large insurance company in my town and I've strongly considered underwriting. The initial pay for underwriting is much higher than HR. Is underwriting a better choice for the future? I don't love HR.
