Why does my mom hold me back?

Most mothers would want these things for their children but my mom doesnt. I dont get it! I am going to be 16 in October.
She wont let me....
1) drive till i am 17
2) get contacts and doesnt believe that i need them (I have glasses)
3) be in any honors classes
4) getting a job
5) graduate high school early so i can walk with my friends at graduation
6) go into medicine for my future job
