1. I wouldn't let my daughter drive until she was 18. Mainly because the insurance rates were astronomical until she hit 18.
2. I wouldn't let my daughter get contacts because she tried them and kept tearing them. So, she had to deal with glasses.
3. I did let her take honors classes, but required her to limit them so her grade point average stayed up.
4. I did let her get a part time job, but if her grades dropped the job went. Also, it had to be hours that worked around MY schedule since I had to drive her to and from it.
5. Never an issue, although, I probably would have her encouraged to graduate when she was supposed to so she had some additional maturity levels.
6. As long as she got and maintained a scholarship, she could go into whatever she wanted. So, if you're paying for it yourself...and it IS expensive...then you do what floats your little boat.

dude you have to ask youreself...do you trust her..meaning youre mom??? and if so is true...then she must have reasons that she doesn't let you be...
well the driving thing that may be overprotective, still she wants to look after ya
the contacts..well get some new pair of glases, a cooler frame
honor class,,well it does make you work extra time...what about time to spend with youre friends
job??? maybe she doesnt want you to work, and maybe let you play even more
graduate early?? why??when you can be king for another year in high school...
medicine..well that really sucks!!! i'm a surgeon.. if you reaally want it. just like i did...then go for it...take the extra year of high school get scholarships...the sky is the limit dude, just dont give up...dont let these little bumps...sidetrack ya...keep focused,, i did... tis the only way....dont let up....
