You are having a party, say a graduation party, and you are expected to invite the family. The problem is, one member or branch, feels that any party should have them at the center of attention. The father is a roaring, nasty drunk, complains there either isn't any or enough alcohol to keep his buzz running, is carrying a feud on with another member - branch, and wants to keep insulting and picking fights with them, the spouse of the nasty drunk, is an over 50 Paris Hilton wannabee and dresses and acts like a street corner hooker. Their youngest child is a holy terror who physically assaults anyone who doesn't give him his way.

Sure, don't invite them. That would be the easy answer, but the patriarch of the family feels that all his children should just get along, and is being gaslighted that all the other's don't care for him the way Boozie and Paris do......so to not invite them would be fueling their fire. Any suggestions?

My friend, who I haven't talked to in a few weeks, just made up with her boyfriend who I seldom talk to. Well he emailed me like "what's up" and I was like "not much going on you" so he responded by asking me why I don't talk to my friend anymore. My friend has been known to tell people to email people for her. In fact, she told me to email her now boyfriend for her about a month back because of one reason or another. So I responded by telling him I know he's lying and not to talk to me anymore (it's just a little annoying when people pretend to be interested in you when they're not). Now he emailed me back and said "y u so jumpy and not lying" stuff like that, so I email him back, totally changing the subject asking him if he was excited to get back to school. All he said was "yea". Do you think my friend sent him, because his wording seemed like things my friend would tell, and she's been known to do it?
