I've noticed how people nowadays say the word 'like' a lot when they speak. For example a teenage girl on the phone would say: So like, when yesterday I drove the car for like the first time, I felt, like, pretty weird

Whatever happened to the word 'umm..'? I find that more appropriate though both are pretty irritating!

Well, i was watching Top Gear ( a car programme over here) and they went over to the states to do a programme.

And they went through a small town with things painted on the cars such as "man love is great" and "nascar sucks" and "hillary for president"
