I used to talk that way when I was a teen, and I'm 57. Most of us grow out of it and gain (or regain) our articulation as we mature.

I don't think like, like, ever went out of style. It was used when I was, like, a teenager, and it's still, like, used now.
And it is, like, really, like, annoying, but, like everyone, like, uses it!
