I do earlies (7:30- 3:30) and lates (2-10) and always find I come home feeling more tired on the earlies than the lates, despite that I don't really change the time I get up, so I do lots more when I'm on lates. Does anyone find the same and why do you think that is?

Why do people say "for all intensive purposes"? I have seen this in print and have heard it on TV (usually from someone being interviewed). Do they realize that they sound incredibly stupid?

This is the one I get the most feedback on...

The One
01-06-06

Thirty years old and still longing to find
The girl of my dreams, the one that is mine
I've been to the parties, the bars and the parks
I've given my money, my time and my heart
I thought it was this one, or that one, or her
But then afterall, I wasn't so sure
So where is this angel that God sent for me
The one that they said, we'd know when we meet
Did I miss her, did I know her, Is fate really true
Or did He forget about mine when he sent one to you
Or maybe she's coming a little bit late
Maybe awaiting the appropriate date
So what do I do, just wait 'til I'm old
Sleep in this bed all my life all alone
Or do I just settle for the first pretty girl
That smiles real big when I give her a twirl
A cozy warm bed seems easier to me
Even though she's not quite who I thought she would be
It all seems so hard, I can't get it straight
I'm tired of waiting for the hands of fate

what i mean is, that almost every really well known super hero was created from the imaginations of people who were jewish. nothing wrong with that, it just makes me wonder about some of the super heroes that have been created by "gentiles".

Lettuce. I'm addicted to the stuff but I have to buy it fresh so I can only buy a maximum of five at a time (although one time Morrisons were selling them for 10p each and I did buy ten).

However, if I could freeze it then I'd be able to buy as much as I wanted and since I get paid monthly and therefore only tend to buy it on payday. If I could freeze lettuce, I could have it all month long.

I have got round this a little though .... There is a loop hole. If I do a favour for any of my colleagues, I always charge a fee. My standard fee for a favour is a head of lettuce. If its a big favour, they can add salad cream (Heinz, of course) and any other salad stuff they like.

I'm actually owed about five heads of lettuce at the minute. I might have to remind them about their debts; I only have half a head in the fridge.

We have a large great room with Cathedrial ceilings, it actual blends right into the kitchen and we are planning on painting it yellow. But I can't decide which shade. I want it to look classic calm and warm but it seems each shade I think looks that way ends up being to bright. Any suggestions? Should I go more blue more red more green to get the best shade of yellow for what I'm wanting? HELP!

Apparently according to the mainstream media two billion people tuned into a Live Earth concert. That's a third of the planet listening to Al Gore's message. I find that hard to believe.

Did you tune in? What did you think of the music or message?
