I am spending the day with my family as it's Easter Sunday.

They still treat me like I am 12! I'm 25. My mum's started taking over and making food for all the family..etc. I don't behave unruly. In fact Im the opposite - I'm reserved and only talk when I need to.

Will they ever treat me like an adult?

Do you think having to struggle with life, does more for your character than living a life of continual bliss?

Of course a mixture of both would be a balance.
It seems those who have all the materialistic advantages, struggle with happiness.
Do we need to struggle at some point to show us how lucky we are when we come out the other side, still alive and coping? You can't buy good health just a more comfortable bed...
Does that struggle really shape our character?
