yes, i grew up in Alabama the only place kids had to go was a roller rink, it was like 15 miles from my house so i only went once in a while. it was a different world, there were no arcades, no skate parks, no malls, no movie theater, we didn't even have cable you had an antenna on the house and you got maybe 6 channels! believe it or not i;m only 38 so it wasn't that long ago. lolol

When I was a teenager (20 some odd years ago), the roller rink was where all the girls hung out... and THAT, my dears, is the only reason guys ever learned to skate. ;)

Yeah. In the 70's.
Today, probably, if you skate into somebody by accident, you need to bring an oozie.
Back in the 70's if you skated into somebody, you only needed to know how to fight when they waited for you outside.
