Yourself.

History is the future in the making. It means something different for everybody. Each person is able to build on to something and become something great because of what another left behind. That's what makes history great and why we try to remember it. You make history every day. By raising a kid right or following a dream even when others say you are wrong, you may leave something behind that some one will some day be grateful for.

Sometimes, it will seem like you are forging this path alone, but the importance of it will still be there. There are many key figures in our history books who, by noblely following what they felt was right, changed the world even after their deaths. Do you think every one of them knew they were going to have such an impact on the world?

Even god, no matter what faith you belong to, does not disagree upon the importance of an individual and the manner in which he or she acts. In every faith I have seen so far, god uses a person as an instrument to bring about the works of the future, thus blazing forth a path that is no less history then that which we learn about in text books today.
