Yes, my parents are older than most, but I don't look at it as being bad. They struggled to have kids, so that's why they're older. Yeah, they let me do stuff and hang out with friends on the weekends, not ever during the week, which I guess is good. And they're fun to be around, but when it comes to schoolwork, that's the first priority during the week. Whenever I have to make some really big decision, I can talk to them. I'm only 15, but I have a really different, more conservative point of view than most people my age. I'm better at handling money and before I make a big purchase, I research it. I'm not very impulsive. I don't have a cell phone and don't want one.
The thing is, whenever my friends find out I have older parents, not because I tell them, it could be some other way, they're just like really stunned and it feels really awkward. I don't know. I'm scared my parents won't be able to see me get married or have kids, but they're very supportive of me. Any Advice?
