when MOST are not very nice to us in the first place?
lets have fun! like we used to ask more goofy questions,stop reporting.
everyone wants to complain about the regulars and say we forgot to take our meds but the thing is we have been here long enough to know how it used to be,and we are tired of seeing our friends deleted for stupid reasons.THAT is why we are having temper tantrums

Why not?
If you went to a new job would it be fair if everyone there even your boss was rude to you?
Everyone and any time can say something stupid, funny, rude, or hurtful. It's how you as a person handle it.
I agree that I don't like the fact that ppl are reporting for no reason. There are so many questions out there, and well sometimes this is the only way to get the answer that maybe you need.
I will say this.... NEWBIES NEED TO GROW UP!!!!!!!
This site helps ppl. Don't think you can take over.
Be respectful of others. It's the mature thing to do!

There are two types of new people:
Newbies: These are truely new and just starting out on the site. They sometimes have trouble finding their way around. Most ask politely, and are unsure if their questions would be welcome. But they ask anyway, just in case.
n00bs: These are the truely obnoctious ones. People who come on strong, thinking they know everything. These are the ones who attack others, post pointless questions, spam the boards, and generally make nusiences of themselves.
And it's very difficult to tell the difference, because a newbie will often post a question that, to others, SEEMS pointless.
So, yes, be NICE to the NEWBIES, but the N00BS deserve to go down in flames.

We should be nice to those that are new but it's hard to be nice to those types of attitudes.
The attitude has to go, no place here for it. I think some "new people" give a bad name to all the rest. Let's embrace the good people, even if new and deal with the others.
P&S has gotten rid of pains before, remember the "Make money on the web....this is not a scam" people? They're gone.
The next thing is how to deal with the reporters and thusly friends getting deleted.

Let em struggle, we earned the right to be loopy as regulars, I remember when I would'nt even get an answer to a question, then this lady with an alter ego Lalyn sent me a message and said she enjoyed my answers, well I'll tell ya I tried harder and now I'm L5 so they just need to learn to overcome being dishearted and leave the regulars to their fun.
Either that or let's protest to yahoo for a new category called...Stupid things to say and do

If they can get it then yes. I totally agree with you. I have been here for awhile now and the humor is not what it used to be. The understanding has greatly diminished. We will have to take a stand at some point if we want to keep having fun.

Well, through no fault of their own I feel like they will get some of the orange badges through default. I have over 17,000 points for contributing but a newbie with 1700 and 10% best answers will get the orange badge for CONTRIBUTING? I am thinking about just leaving here cause it just isn't fair anymore. The newbies come on here like they own the place and hate us regulars cause we do own it!!!!!! lol And they get the regulars deleted cause they are just plain jealous of their popularity and want to show us they WILL run p/s....let's go get em............and let them know that GEORGE IS ONE OF US>...I have been nice long enough.....I will be nice to the ones that are nice to me.......the other snots ???? They will have me to reckon with......GRAMMA ELLIE IS HERE!

yes we should be nice to the newbies along with all the others too. We all were new once. Somebody must have been nice to you or you still wouldn't be here. Think about it... as for your temper tantrums I have valium for that, would you like one?

I think what is happening is that they are getting exactly what they want, creating controversy, and if we simply go on as usual, don't react, they will get bored and leave. I'm sure the ones who are reporting are getting a huge kick out of the turmoil that has resulted.
