The ex's father sent my son a fifty dollar gift card, I used it to buy my son art supplies, underwear, socks and a toy. Now I am being accused of "stealing" his gift card, I am being threatened with charges of identity theft for not giving my son his card to use as he pleases. Excuse me, my son is eight years old, he cannot control the funds in his possession, and yet these people have nothing better to do than to threaten me with fraud, I am reminded once again why I am divorced from this person. The ex just called me, telling me that I'd "better" talk to his father if "I didn't want to be arrested and brought up on charges against you stole Alex's credit card and committed identity theft." Excuse me? Its a bloody AmEx gift card. I've done nothing but get on with my life, stay away from them and raise my children as best as I can. I don't do drugs, I don't even drink, I don't bring strange men home, I don't hit, yell or mistreat my children
