Frequently in the media women are depicted as sexually attractive and men are depicted as desiring those sexually attractive women. One result is that it is virtually always men, and not women, who are seen as having sexual desires.Women are represented as the objects of sexual attention and men are represented as the sexual actors. When women are depicted as having desires, they are usually shown as wanting to be a sexual object.

In order to be persuasive, advertisements frequently couple a product with an abstract quality or feeling. The goal is to create the message that if you use this product you will find romance, become sexually attractive, achieve happiness, etc. These messages frequently are about sexuality, love, and relationships.

What are your opinions on this? How do you feel? Please voice your opinion.

Would you die fighting for your nation or protecting your country? Would you rather kiss an annoying person or trouble a cheetah? Would you rather write a 1000 page essay about your lifes most embarrssing moments or read a long boring book? Would you rather put your face in a fish bowl or paint your face bright purple (permenant) Would you rather read a boring book or die? Would you rather go to a concert starring your favorite singer or spend your summer vacation in your friends house? Would you rather eat a dead fish or get cancer?
