Here's a few things I've heard Americans say about the UK while I've been over there:

"The Beatles come from there, right?"
"You guys still have a queen, right?"
"The English, they live in castles, right?"
"Tony Blair's like a buddy of Bush's, right?"

And one very specific one, when I told these three girls I was not British, but instead came from Ireland.

"Ireland? That's so cool! That's near London, right?"

Surely the good ol' US of A knows more than the above about this land, right?

Why do you think that so many cartoon cereal characters are selfish jerks?

A few examples:

1. No one wants to share cereal with the Trix rabbit.

2. Lucky from Lucky Charms never wants to share his cereal.

3. Fred never wants to share Pebbles with Barney.

4. Not sure if he is still around, but the cop from Cookie Crisp didn't like to share either.

I think there are more, and if you can think of any, I would appreciate it.
