just wondered cuz the yahoos say OK is incomprehensible---

It is Oklahoma
I think their state motto is "Oklahoma is OK!" (lame)
i think Nebraska's state motto is "Hey, at least we're not Oklahoma!"

Yahoo doesnt recognize "OK" because there's not such word. Oklahoma is abbreviated "OK." but only as it applies to mail. Otherwise it's abbreviated Okla. BTW: My Google spell check recognizes "OK."
