And for that matter, why?
Is it the prudes & bluenoses who have no sense of fun, or worse, want no one else to have any?
Is it all the ten year olds who want someone else to solve all their problems with the opposite (or same) gender?
What about the hosers who not only can't spell, but have no clue what 'spell check' is all about?

And what are the rest of us going to do to sort this cr*p out?

There are only a few of us that liven this place up.

I don't mean something that could be used as a weapon like a kitchen knife or a length of rope but something specifically designed to cause harm.

I don't. I did have some numchuks and throwing stars given to me when I was a kid but I don't know what happened to them.

Does is annoy anyone else when people don't phrase the question as a question or just make a lame announcement or you can't even understand the question because it makes no sense or they write three pages of information about the question and it gives you a headache just to read it all? Or they cut and paste from somewhere else or they tell you to go read a newspaper article and then answer their question? Does this annoy anyone else or am I the only one? I find this annoying that after going to all the trouble of clicking on a question which you think may be a reasonable question to answer you find a whole page of crap to read that I, for one, am way too lazy to read and have no desire to read. Then you have to click on 'answers' again and it is a big waste of time. You could actually read whatever they wrote, or copied and pasted, or hyperlinked, or asked to go to another website and read but that is just way too much trouble. I have way too much time on my hands at work, agree?

everyone stopped using the internet for one day. Just turned off the computer and made a commitment not to go online. What would happen? Would there be boredom as far as the eye could see, or could it benefit mankind in some way?

that they should be asking in a different category? Asking for advice on romance or family or something technical. They're taking away the fun of this category.
