everyone stopped using the internet for one day. Just turned off the computer and made a commitment not to go online. What would happen? Would there be boredom as far as the eye could see, or could it benefit mankind in some way?

I know that a lot of people wouldn't be able to ask and answer questions. The people who have myspace, my lord, would be out of their freakin minds. Go a day without seeing what a person posted about you.
People who get their porn wouldn't be able to get that "release".
People wouldn't be able to pay their bills online at the last minute!
So many people and things would be out of sync!

I think that it would be okay if everyone stopped using the internet for a day. Like all other things, its use is habitual. I don't think that people would get bored at all. I have shut the tv off for a day. I wasn't bored, however I did miss it, but I definitely think that I could live without it as long as I found something entertaining and productive to fill the gap.

What if everyone stopped doing anything for one day...wait, 6 hours...heck, how about 1 hour? Absolutely nothing. Just sleeping and breathing.

well i guess that if everyone went offline for a whole day , they might start to do something real for a change . like being outside and enjoying their families . but it might need to be for a few days instead of just one day before people started to have fun .

i would personally go batty! i can't live without the internet or emails! i would like to see what happened though if al the TV's & cable were turned off for the day. perhaps men would actually start paying attention to women :-)
