our band of 6 members is participating in a competition where we have to perform an instrumental song.........marks are mainly for melody and feel(this is very imp)
so can you just name a few of them for us............

we in our band have::
1 bass guitarist
2 lead guitarist(one takes the rythm part)
1 drummer
1 pianist

please suggest a song which has most of the above instruments...............thank you in advance

im not sure of all the words but some parts are i could miss you all night or i could slit your throat sometimes i get so down when youre not around i'd rather see you dead.

There is this song I can't figure out the name of...I think its from the 80's and has been remade. A male sings the chorus and he sings "I...Love...You"...thats it. Trumpets are played and its a beautiful song. Please someone help me figure out the title of this song, thank you, I hope this information is enough!

I have a Yamaha YFI-26S Open Holed Flute, and it's about 10+ years old. Yamaha has discontinued this flute, and I'm sure that was a long time ago. I have had this flute aprox 8-10 years. I was wondering if musical instruments gain value over the years, esp. if the company discontinued it? Thanks in advance.

I enjoy the sound that James Blunt puts out. I know a lot of songs on the radio have a simliar sound. The problem is that I never know who is singing these songs.

James Blunt sings wonderful songs, but I can not relate to them. I like to be able to relate to the music.

There is a melody in Pet Shop Boys song "Its a sin" that sounds alot like a melody in "Wild World" by Cat Stevens. I have noticed that a few other songs have similiar melodies and I'm just wondering if anyone else out there can hear what I hear in music. I guess you have to be musically inclined to catch the similarities. I realize that music can be original to a point and then there is no way to avoid copying other songs in melody. It just seems to be more obvious to me sometimes when most everyone I know doesn't hear it.
