Do musical instruments gain...?

I have a Yamaha YFI-26S Open Holed Flute, and it's about 10+ years old. Yamaha has discontinued this flute, and I'm sure that was a long time ago. I have had this flute aprox 8-10 years. I was wondering if musical instruments gain value over the years, esp. if the company discontinued it? Thanks in advance.

Yamaha not so much.

If you want to see what people might PAY for one, go to ebay and do a search of completed auctions.

Depends on the Brand,,Model and Age
