1. I tend to use only 2 or 3 sounds on my roland sound module (JV1010). There are literally 100s of sounds there but I keep going back to these same 3...how can I break out of this habit....does anyone else have this problem ?

2, I play in a band and although it's going well tend to play in the 2 octaves above and below middle C on the keyboard. This works OK as the pitch seems to be below the lead guitar and above the bass guitar but I wondered if there is any other areas on the keyboard to play that don't conflict with these instruments or where I can experiment with ?
