They pogo in their bedroom,
In front of the mirror,
But only when their Mum's gone out.

Name the song & band, and what other bands are namechecked?

Maybe "God is on your side"?? Im forgetting now. It talked about people letting you down- but God is always on your side. It was on 90.5 in Tampa last night. Any ideas? Someone said Flexx- but thats not it.

Mine is:

Band: Throwing Copper
Song: Lightning Crashes

lightning crashes, a new mother cries

her placenta falls to the floor

the angel opens her eyes

the confusion sets in

before the doctor can even close the door

lightning crashes, an old mother dies

her intentions fall to the floor

the angel closes her eyes

the confusion that was hers

belongs now, to the baby down the hall

oh now feel it comin' back again

like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind

forces pullin' from the center of the earth again

I can feel it.

lightning crashes, a new mother cries

this moment she's been waiting for

the angel opens her eyes

pale blue colored iris,

presents the circle

and puts the glory out to hide, hide

Mine is Elvis Presley, I may not like is music too much (i'm into death metal and stuff)...but still, I will never respect an artist as much as him. He is the God of Music

I have the version that has parental warning on it.
The thing is half the songs on the cd arn't bad anyway.
I listened to her cd and every song was the same they still cused
and everything. Is that wierd. Why do they make clean lyrics if they are the same as the bad ones? not that the other lyrics are bad!

Here are some of the bands I liked in the 90's, I am trying to remember the names of some of the less popular songs and bands I used to listen to.
Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls, 3rd Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, Smash Mouth, Hootie and the Blowfish, Aqua, Marcy Playground, and Chumbawumba.
If you have any suggestions, let me know!

Elvis is the King of Rock, Jackson is the King of Pop. Who's the King of Metal?

I'd imagine it would be Ozzy Osbourne or Rob Zombie?

When i was about 12 years old my life was not going so well, i was being bullied and everything. I just wanted to die. Then one day i was just looking at a store looking at music and i spotted one album that would change my life. The band was called the used. Ever since i listened to them i started to get attached to emo music more and more i felt like i wanted to live on because their lyrics they reminded me of my life. Is it possible that music saved my life?
