I'm looking to buy an acoustic guitar. I'm a total novice. I've always wanted to learn how to play guitar so I've decided now is the time to do that.

Because I have no experience, Im not looking for a top of the line guitar right now. I also don't want to buy something that is cheap and low quality. I want a basic, fairly good quality, as inexpensive as possible guitar. I'm not looking to spend over $300 if possible.

I haven't visited any music stores because I am so inexperienced and I don't want to embarrass myself or get conviced to buy something that is not really what I'm looking for.

Ok, it's on a commercial and it takes place at a train station or something and there are two guys standing in front of a t.v. and they start singing into a microphone and all I remember is them saying some words and then "dancing". It's a fast pace song. I think its a commercial on the playstation or something? Anyone know?
