seriously, where's ruben studdard, or fantasia? ruben's runner up was Clay Aiken, and he gets more media coverage than ruben. it seems like the white american idols get more coverage than the ones who aren't white. is this an example of racial bias in the media? more importantly, does it reflect the racial prefernce of the country?

when i was a kid my mother would turn on old black and whtie movies and see some old famous actor that died before i was born..and she would go on and on about how great he was blah blah blah...but i was thinking i am 25 now and i look at all the actors that i grew up watching and i wonder how i will feel when they start to pass....what will the world be like with out Sean Connery?

Kathy Griffin's Hate Speech About Jesus
At the Emmy awards, Kathy Griffin's acceptance speech said, "A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus." She went on to say,"Suck it, Jesus. This is my God now!" referring to the Emmy.

As a Christian, I am offended by her hate speech. What do you think might have happened if she had made the hate speech against Muhammad???? Kathy Griffin has the right as an American to say what she thinks. As a Christian-American, so do I.
Today I will refuse to watch any show that she may be on or purchase tickets to any event at which she would perform.

I sure don't. I sure won't cry if i never see shows like Desperate Housewives on Tv again. Gives me time to do more important things in my life like reading a good book spending quality time with friends/family/ Etc. In my opinion this writers strike is a blessing.
