What is the best way to handle social battles??

Being decent and letting go is one thing, but standing up to protect your interests is annother., What do you think is the best way to handle daily social clashes with ythe people you deal with outside your family.. be it a pesky co-traveller or your telephone company and so on?..

Ok So isn't this annoying when people are too afraid to "try everything once"?

Ok don't I don't support people who drink or smoke or have sex or anything, but I've been thinking and this is really annoying. Ok when people get all mad and say things like don't do drugs don't have sex when they're just saying it because they're to scared to you know? Like my friend was being a manbitch about me having my first sip of alcohol, but I know its because he is too scared to ever do it.

P.S.(I'm not a bratty little hormonal teenager I just believe the saying try everything once but I wouldn't get high or anything you know like I support not doing drugs not because i'm too scared to do it but because it could hurt you and don't drinking because if you're in the wrong place not with friends or family you could wind up dead)
Maybe I'm just venting but oh well I want to know some of your opinions on this kind of stuff.

What do you think?

What kind of instrument do you think would best suit me?

I cannot read music, but I have a very good ear and learn quickly. The last instrument I played, aside from goofing around at a piano and playing with an old guitar, was the recorder in 4th grade.

I do not want to play the guitar because I think that is very much overdone, and I do not want to play the drums because I think percussion usually detracts from the music. I really do not want to play the piano.

I cannot sing or dance, but I can write lyrics, and I am moderately good at composing tunes.

My favourite artists include Harry Chapin, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, Patsy Cline, John Denver, and John Tzinieris. I like all music as long as it isn't poppy or hate-filled.

I'm looking for something unique, but not so unique that it's overdone. I don't want to be the next big star, just be able to do something fun for myself and my friends, and maybe, maybe a band at some point in the future.

im not the best example when it comes to one man one woman (or in some cases with some people woman and woman or man and man)..i have cheated in the past but i found that i did it because i knew that the relationship i was in was pretty much over.but would you ever cheat or have you?

(just an fyi,im in a relationship with my b/f have been for 2 years,live with him and very happy,i havent cheated on him or do i want to.)
