A woman slowed her car at a stop sign and rolled thru it. A police man stopped her and told her that she was going to get a ticket for failure to come to a complete stop.
The woman argued that slowing down very slow was just as good as stopping altogether.
At this point, the policeman took out his billy club and started whacking her with it. Then he asked her, "Now - do you want me to slow down? Or do you want me to stop?"

* Last weekend... slippery roads, minor motor vehicle accident.
* This past week... 127 pinewood cars, 508 wheels that must be put into overpainted axles.
* Just now... Spring weather, a car, one bike in the ditch, MY bike a tad bit crumpled (read: smooshed) by the roadside.

What is the universe trying to tell me?!! *grin*

The man answers the door to find a 6 foot stag beetle there. He asks the creature what the hell he's doing calling at such a late hour, but halfway through the tirade the bettle lays into him. After landing the man with a series of vicious punches and kicks the beetle saunters off down the street. The man crawls back into his house and calls an ambulance. At the hospital the man is reluctant to tell the docs how he came about his injuries, but after some persuading relates the tale of the stag beetle expecting to be laughed at. However to his suprise the doctor is sympathetic and explains to the man that there is a nasty bug going around!
