I've heard stories about people like Elliot Gould in his heyday, being arrogant and Shelley Duvall being hard to work with. Do people take into account actors disposition when selecting them for roles? People who may not show up, like Linday Lohan aside, does it help your career to be easy-going on the set?
I'm not an actor, so it's not advice I'm seeking:). But, I have just seen certain (I thought) talented people drop off into obscurity, and I wonder, "Maybe they are jerks, too" And on the other hand, I have seen mediocre actors constantly getting work. Maybe because they are "good people"?
