Every town, whether a big, towering city or a backwoods collection of huts, has that character. You know the one! The fella everyone knows, everyone has a story to tell about.
Town drunk, neighborhood auntie, local war hero, everyone's best friend sheriff, the cat lady... These are characters! The little dabbles of color that gives every town, big or small, famous or off the map, those little details that make it what it is.
Well, I am collecting characters.
As a writer, I am always looking for that little dabble of color that will make my readers sit up and say “I’ve been there!”
As a historian, I am always looking for that little detail that adds to the story of time gone by.
So, I ask you, tell me about the character in your own town and I’ll tell you about mine.

you're at this garage sale and you see this really cool alarm clock. When it goes off it plays "Baby Got back". So you buy it for about $3 and set it for the morning. when u wake up to the sound of your alarm u rub it searching for the snooze button an dwhen u finall press it a big cloud of smoke poofs into the air and when the cloud fades you see Sir Mix-Alot only he's a geanie. He says you get one wish but you can't wish for more wishes or another geanie or anything that results in more wishes.

What would you wish for?

once while taking tuitions- there were two students i was teaching one of class four and the othr of kg. the boy of first had to write an essay on my mother. to help him i asked how much beautiful is your mother write it. he was excited and said my mother is very beautiful she is most beautiful in the world, she is first in beauty in the world.
amused i smiled,and said to the other boy, "look what your friend is saying, ok now you tell me how beautiful is your mother.
he said, if his mother is first then my mother has to be second.
i was very pleased with the witty answer and laughed the whole afternoon. in the evening when my teenage son returned from collage, i told him the joke, and then with high hopes i asked him,
"son tell me what you feel how beautiful is your mother"
he smiled and said, "sorry, can't do anything, your place comes third now." i still remember this funny moment and will till my endbut now my question to you is how beautiful is your mother?

What if youre in a situation where you absolutely hate your wife, and you really love someone else, BUT you have worked entirely too hard to build everything you have (your house, money etc), just to let some court say that this person you hate gets half of everything?

How is it possible to be happy in this situation? You cant be with the one you truely wanna be with or they'll be hell 2 pay.
I'm interested in what you guys would do? How would you handle this situation?
