What if youre in a situation where you absolutely hate your wife, and you really love someone else, BUT you have worked entirely too hard to build everything you have (your house, money etc), just to let some court say that this person you hate gets half of everything?
How is it possible to be happy in this situation? You cant be with the one you truely wanna be with or they'll be hell 2 pay.
I'm interested in what you guys would do? How would you handle this situation?

Sounds like my Ex, he wanted me to stay around and wait for his wife to leave him. No, way. I'm not sharing.

Better to stick with the wife. Obviously if you want to dump her for another woman, you are just creating a pattern where you will eventually talk yourself into dumping the second woman.
After all, you married your true love, then you dumped her for your true love. Takes a pretty naive woman to think a guy who dumped his first wife will love her forever.

I've been through nasty breakups & always left not looking back. Screw the material goods, I can always get them back, but nothing can replace my happiness. After all, I was paying for my own stupid choices - nobody's fault but mine, should have been thinking with my brains.

if you love her ,head over heels etc., damn the torpedos, full speed ahead.... chuck it all, go for it, start over and be happy... but be damn sure 1st... that's if you're under 35, if you're over 35, play it cool, get your 1/2 of the STUFF and start with that... i think you'll find out though, that STUFF doesn't really matter that much, but how you treat people( including your soon to be ex), so treat 'em like you'd want to be treated....

Sometimes it is, but I gambled and won, I got the home, my daughters, and she has to pay child support and me and my daughters have been happy for the last 6 years. Thank God,,,
