I LOVE geeks...don't get me wrong. I am one myself (haha) and I noticed that a good sci-fi TV show all have their own 'geek'/s.

For example 'Stargate:Atlantis' - the scientist gambling over chess to win anime dvd collections.

'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' - some characters are fans of D&D, role playing etc.

'Spaced' series - classic show, full of 'geeky' stuff. Love it.

I read a comment in a magazine that the staff were debating whether it was as good as 'Doctor Who'!

I think both are great in their own way and not to be compared... 'Doctor Who' has been around for centuries.

'Primival' is showing some promise...especially as its a British sci-fi. Not many brit sci-fi seem to do too well which is a pity - so this is refreshing.

I am hoping the writers don't mess it up!

I cannot remember the name of it, but there were several vehicles and it seems like they had a type of organic tether that held a type of boulder or round heavy thing that could swing about and slam things in it's path. In the toy form the appendage on the top part of the vehicle was made out of plastic... I can't remember for sure but I also believe in this series there was a main character, a male, with brown hair with a white stripe down the middle of it. Also, the setting of the series was not in modern times but possibly on another planet. Any help would be appreciated, thanks...

I need to know some really funny movies to watch please. I am into Jim Carrey at the moment but I do not need suggestions on his movies because I have watched them this week.

I ask because I am writing a comedy movie script about a tramp who marries a grandma inherits her fortune and hits Hollywood

Some of the jokes are when he sees a fat woman he goes "it's Jabba the Hutt with lip gloss"

Or when he's thrown out of the hotel for being naked he says to his pal "we've been thrown out and i've left my drugs in the safe and sharon stone between two chairs........................... want my drugs back!

It's funnier when said what do you people think of my script and good comedy movies?
