Koren drama is making its way to the asian scene, as well as filipino drama which begins with "pangako sayo" which is one of the highest rating and longest running soap operas in asia. Well korean drama is mostly a short series and had a sad ending, while filipino dramas we're more heavy, violent but in the end has a happy ending.
