William Petersen supposedly went on sabatical from CSI Vegas but did he really and will he be coming back?
Anna Belknap left town to go testify in her friends death in Montana, but I noticed she was always hiding behind books tables and filmed from head to chest, also she had a full face. I feel that she is pregnant am I correct? I hope these are questions I can ask regarding tv trivia.

William Petersen left to perform a play in Rhode Island, but he is expected back. Anna Belknap is indeed expecting her first child. She's supposed to be due this month.

Anna Belknap left to have a baby, but she is on a brief maternity leave and will return to the show. William Petersen is supposed to be coming back in a couple more weeks (in time for February sweeps); he was in a play in Providence, RI.

No, Jeff can't be William. William, I'm pretty sure, died and won't be coming back as a ghost like Alistair. Jeff left a note while he was investigating Gloria. He'd figured out that Gloria had been the one to do it before he'd confronted her about it. At the last moment he wasn't so sure anymore on telling the police she'd done it because he was torn then he died of a stroke. I'm pretty sure before that he'd left a note just in case. Besides, the writers have been slacking off right now and haven't really explained much. They leave a lot of plot holes lying around: like what happened to Ji-Minh's killer and how come no one is coming to look for the money Amber, Daniel and Kevin burned? I guess this particular plot hole was supposed to be obvious. Jeff simply explained that William left a note where, written on it was, "She did it." So obviously he'd spoken to Jeff about Gloria countless times prior to his death otherwise he wouldn't have known who "she" was. Hope I helped!
