I just saw on my local news that they are considering lifting the reading requirements at some high schools which will mean that some kids can get through and graduate without ever reading a classic novel or doing a book report. They're also trying to substitute business math for algebra and some school board members want to make Biology an elective. When I hear stuff like this and think about where we're gonna be by the time my kids start high school, I feel sick.

A man enters a confessional and says to the Irish Priest, "Father, it has been one month since my last confession. I`ve had s*x with Fannie Green every week for the last month." The priest tells the sinner, " You are forgiven. Go out and say three Hail Mary`s".

Soon, another man enters the confessional. "Father, it has been two months since my last confession. I have had s*x with Fannie Green twice a week for the last two months." This time the priest asks, "who is this Fannie Green"? The sinner replies, "a new woman in the neighbourhood."
"very well" says the priest. Go and say ten Hail Mary`s ."

The next morning in church, the priest is preparing to deliver his sermon when a gorgeous, tall woman enters the church. All the men`s eyes fall upon her as she slowly sashays up the aisle and sits down in front of the altar. Her dress is green and very short, with matching shiny emerald green shoes. The priest and altar boy gasp as the woman sits down with her legs slightly spread apart, Sharon stone-style.

The priest turns to the altar boy and whispers, "is that Fannie green? The altar boy replies, "No Father, I think its just the reflection off her shoes.........."

The bands you grew up listening to and who you thought were the coolest band ever to annoy your parents and play loud in your first car while winding all the windows down and driving through town singing loudly or learn all their lyrics and then incorporate them into love letters to your first proper bf.... release a "best of".

Worst of all is when you buy the best of album from HMV or wherever and the pimply geek behind the counter kind of smirks and goes "'The Damned" I remember them weren't they punk or something?'

I am 30 next birthday and I feel old.

All i remember from the program is that everyone went in to some sort of trance where there eyes went purple. I think they were possibly hypnotised and its not the demon headmaster.

I moved to AZ, but always used to go to christian music festivals that lasted a few days. I helped out do the signing for the artists and taking care of merchandise.
