Programming & Design - November 2006

I have 150 images. Each image ( 49pixels(W) x 20 pixels(H)) is loaded into a frame. When i click export>movie it goes through no problem. When i go to embed it into a webpage, the movie itself shows up as:


How do i configure the movie so that the width and height are identical to the images themselves (i.e no background).

can u explain me 1 thing what does the num[index] means especialy the "[ ]" parts thanks.

Looking for simple online/web-based wysywyg html editor. But the only things i'm finding in searches are captive programs that are web-builders for particular isp sites, like godaddy template web-builder.

It seems that ektron is the type of 'general' program that is usable on whatever i site i choose, but since the only thing i need to do is to add links to a site, that is not affordable for me.

Can you direct me to online/web-based wysywyg html editor that will allow me to add links to a site for which i have ftp access through web. I can see the html file that i need to add links into, but need a simple web-based tool allowing me to add the links and republish the page. TIA

I would like to learn to make a website. Are there any programs to assist me? What do I do to make one? I have all these thoughts in my head and things I want to write about, and I want them on a sort of personal website for me put them onto. I would like to have forums on there, and polls as well as links to other sites and stuff like mouse overs etc. I don't know how to make graphics for it though (I am sort of a computer noob), so what should I use? How do I put my website onto the net? Anything to do with websites I would like to learn about.

I have two scanners and a Creative Webcam attached to my PC. I am trying to write a raw image capture driver to grab images from one or any of them. I am able to get a list of cameras and all of that and create a device and even get status, but I try to do a RawReadData and I either get an error or no data returned. I suspect that I have to issue a command before I do this, but I can't find any documentation about the vendor-specifc (or generic) commands.

For the application that I am creating, I don't want to use central push, but it doesn't matter unless I can grab data. Are the commands documented anywhere?

...but when I use the tables, there's about a half-inch of white all the way around the outside of both tables. I'd like the color to be solid, with no white. How do I get rid of the white border? I already have the cellspacing, cellpadding, and border set to zero.
