Can I caputure a movie from something on my desktop, like I made this cool line flyer thing and I want to record it into a video so I can edit it with my Windows Movie Maker

You will need handycam or a web cam. In worst case, mobile phone will do. When using web can and handycam, you must first make sure that the proper drivers are loaded. Drivers are normally free and you can get it thorugh the company's website.

If you are using mobile phone, you will get your video in 3gp format. So you will need some video converter tool to convert it to avi or mpeg, so that taht can be feeded to movie maker.

Yes you a video card that allow you to capture images or accept input from and external device.
In most cases you video camera may have the ability interface with your computer similar to a digital camera. Once you have a connection to your computer it should recognize the video camera as an external hard drive. At that point you can copy the file from your camera to your PC.
Check for a USB interface on your Camera

well im not exactly sure what you mean but if you mean take a video inside the computer and wat your doing in it like if you have something you made you can film it and stuff well then you can go to www.download.com and search for hypercam and download it but its going to say at the top unregistered and that could be anoying when its on your movie so i think it would be best to go to lime wire and download it from there WITH THE CODE but its going to take longer in lime wire. and then to edit it if your using pc you should have movie maker if you dont search for it and download it but if you have a mac then its easy beacause you have imovie HD but i think the best tool to use is movie maker if your music a PC
