I was diagnosed with genital warts in Novemeber. I did the Aldara treatment and on the 20th of this month my OB/GYN put.. ah I can't spell it, a kind of acid on the remaining warts, and they all seem to be gone now. Is it ok for me and my boyfriend to be having sex? ( we use a condom EVERY time, since we aren't trying for a baby yet). Also, will he ever be able to perform oral sex on me or finger me or is that something I will never get to have now?

He was not the one I got this from, I was diagnosed shortly before we started dating.

ask your doctor I'm pretty sure you're cleared now. I had a friend with genital warts and she had them freezed or I don't know though I know she and her boyfriend have oral sex and of what i know he hasn't gotten warts. Though to tell you the truth it;s just better to ask your doctor!

I would be asking your doctor about this, not the "doctors" of yahoo.com lol. But if you love him, would you even want to risk THAT? They actually make latex "sheets" that you can use for oral sex on women. I'm not sure of the actual name, but I have seen them and they are thin enough to give great sensation yet strong enough not to break. They are little latex squares that he can hold across your vagina with his hands and.. go at it lol.

its considered a virus which means the doctor needs to burn every one off of you to be effective. once this is done then you have no problems at all or again. i can tell you from experiance 10 years ago.

Well, where did you get it in the first place then? Just be hygienic about it.
