Make it a Vegas night, black jack, roulette, etc. etc. Money issues could be monopoly and the wealthiest person at midnight gets a prize or something along those lines.
server up some non alcohol drinks, lots of good mixers out there that dont require liquor to make them good such as margaritas, bloody marys, you get the idea im sure. Food is easy, appetizers galore, hot wings, garlic fries, pizza, on and on and on....

Pizza is almost always a hit food-wise. You can choose frozen--there are some pretty good frozen pizzas available at most supermarkets and some offer deli pizzas that are even better--or you can choose pickup or delivery from a commercial pizza place. It's usually an easy clean-up, most kids like it, and if you have leftovers they usually don't last more than a few days.

For drinks I would recommend 2 or 3 liter bottles of sodas, or fruit drinks. Have both available as not everyone likes sodas. The party can include games (let the kids decide which ones they like best) music, dancing and a movie might be pretty good. Choose something the kids like, not something you like.

If you have a teen ask him or her to make some recommendations.

Hopefully you have arranged chaperoning that will not seem overbearing but will keep the kids out of trouble.

Good luck, have fun, and Happy New Year!!

Pizza and hot wings are always a hit and have a "mocktail" bar with juices, seltzer and syrups instead of soda. If anyone has a WII see if you can have them bring it to the party with the WII Sports - it is a real blast and even adults get a kick out of it - or break out the board games and play some music. Have Fun!

How about a pasta station w/ 2 types of pasta, 2 different sauces like pesto and tom. sauce, 4 differrent toppings like grape tomatoes, ptd. olives, roasted peppers, fresh mozz., maybe a choice of 2 meats like meatball and Italian sausage and top with shredded parm cheese. Add a caesar salad and fresh loaves of Italian bread w/ OO infused w/ roasted garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, S & P. I've got a great caesar salad dressing. Easy and tasty. How about homemade ice cream and sauces for dessert. Ice cream makers re simple and fun and sure to be a hit w/ the teenagers.

Let them make their own sushi rolls.

Buy a few bamboo mats, make a big batch of sushi rice, have imitation crab sticks, cooked shrimp, cut up cucumber and avocado, sesame seeds, etc ( you may want to avoid the raw stuff, too complicated to keep super fresh), nori ( seaweed sheets) and of course, wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce.

Let them top their own pizzas (use either homemade bread dough or Boboli crusts).

Then do "make your own sundaes".

They'll think you're a great cook. And the food is the entertainment.
