I quit smoking cold turkey back in 2000.

I was a 2 1/2 to 3 packs a day smoker and I smoked for 30 years.

My strong urges lasted a little less than 2 weeks, total consistant withdrawal symptoms lasted about 2 months.

Even now I'll have the occasional urge to smoke, but it only lasts a couple minutes and I might not get another one for weeks.

You should be over the hump by now. If the urges and symptoms continue I'd see my doctor.

the physical withdrawal from nicotine is over in about a month, the emotional attachment can last a lifetime. If you are having those physical symptoms after 11 weeks, there is something else going on, and I suggest you see your doctor.
