Well, funny you should ask .......we were just talking about this the other day. Last summer, a group of us went camping. At the campground next top us, we noticed that several young men were digging a hole. After we had several discussions and theories (burying a dead body, hiding a cache of jewels), one of the ladies in our group got up the gumption to go ask the young guys what they were doing.
The guys were digging a hole, and were placing a tent over it. One of their buddies, a lifelong prankster, was joining them the next day. To pay back all the pranks he had pulled in the past, they dug a hole and placed the guy's tent over it.
We watched that evening, and when buddy was good and drunk, he crawled into his tent - and boom- he was swept into the hole with tent and all! It was sooooo funny to watch!
Maybe you had to be there, but Man, was it hilarious!

I took a 4x4 post and attached an electrical box outlet to it. The stuck the post in the ground, ran an extension cord into it and pluged that into a radio that aslo had batteries to run it. People would come over and ask to plug there camper etc in and I'd say sure. It was great watching them trying to figure out why there stuff wouldn't work when they could hear my radio working! I also use fishing line to hook a "ghost" made of thing material over a bramch, then burt the "ghost" under pine needles etc and run the line to where I would be sitting, cover it lightly with dirt etc so it sin't visible. The sit around the campfire telling ghost stories, when everyone is nervouse, slowly pull the string until the ghost suddenyl appears and yell what's that??? works every time!

Why is it, that some people feel that they need to show their mentality level, by pulling pranks on others that are trying to enjoy their camping trip..
If you feel the need to pull a prank on someone, go to a comedy club, get on stage & pull your prank there.

If you can, at night find a really small fallen tree. Pick it up in some way and drop it in front of as many peoples tents as possible, while leaving a getaway path. When it falls people will think a tree fell over. good stuff.

You probably won't have port a potties, but if you do, take some of those poppers that you throw down on the ground at the 4th of July, and put them under the seat of the potty. It's really funny at girls camps and stuff. It also works great at home under the pegs of your toilet seat! He he he!

I don't like pranks - enough funny things happen without helping them occur. Enjoy your camping - and if you must do pranks make them innocent ones, so that no one wants to go home before the trip is over.

Why don't you tell a nice story, run a scavenger hunt or climb a mountain. Something positive.

if you have any kind of plastic spider and just some fishing line. just hook it up to a tree near your campground and when somebody is standing on it just tap it against their head a couple of times. this only works if the person is really weird about bugs and such.

i can tell you a few from recent boy scout camping first off at night when everybody is paranoid tell them you are going to bed then get dressed in a korrila suit and scare the crap out of them. Or at like 4 in the morning get an air horn and let it go for like a minute. Or take a dump on someones head
