Preventive measures to avoid cold?

What are the preventive steps i can take to avoid cold in home and when when going outside.I know washing hands frequently helps a lot.What else ?

Stay away from sick people

Washing your hands is the most effective way to keep viruses and bacteria out of your body. Make sure you are rubbing your hands together for at least a minute with an antibacterial soap and water focusing on in between your fingers and under the nails. The rubbing motion is actually what detatches the bacteria and viruses from your body. Other ways to stay healthy would be to take vitamins and drinking pleanty of fluids. Many people say to take Airbourne at the first sign of a cold, but I think that's just a placebo. You can also sneeze and cough into the pocket of your elbow or shoulder. This avoids the spread of germs onto other surfaces that would be infected if you were to use your hands. Good luck!

are you sure its colds or is it allergeic to something in the air? its very simliar. you can drink lots of fluids and stuff and keep water alot of thet imes it will help.
