Like water bottles...what do they turn into after the are recycled? What other examples could there be? Website links will be great! :)

recycled bottles can be turned into fleece (as in fleece blankets)

At the store I work in, we have pencils made from recycled paper, and denim....denim and other old clothes can be made into carpet pad...

I have seen shoes with soles made from recycled tires....

wish I had some links for ya, but I'm late to dinner....

We used to recycle "spent" fuel from nuclear reactors until President Jimmy Carter made us stop. That recycling destroyed all the plutonium that "grew" in the fuel and reduced the time required for safe storage from 240,000 years to under 500 years. What a fool. The rest of the world has been smart enough to recycle on their own.

At work I discovered a way to have old plastics reconfigured into new items. One web site I know of is http://yemmhart.com It is expensive to do this but the web site is a great source of information with numerous links to other sites. You can ship old plastic chairs and other materials to Y & H to be remade into other 100% recycled products.
