Hitler was a prototype of the Beast of Revelation, a warning of the Antichrist who is to come, if you will.

Hitler came to power by flattery, as will the Antichrist. He destroyed to a great extent, as will the Antichrist. He persecuted the Jews and Christians, as will the Antichrist. He arose to power in Europe as will the Antichrist. Just a few similarities.

Hitler was an example of what will be coming. The Antichrist will arise to power in Europe after WW III and will rule the world for 7 years, after which he will be personally destroyed by Jesus when He comes back.

Some think that Nero was the "Beast" but this contradicts John's discourse when he was told;

Revelation 17:19-11

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

When John wrote Revelation, five "kings" had already fallen. These were:

Julius Caesar

Augustus Caesar

Tiberius Caesar

Caligula Caesar

Claudius Caesar

Nero Caesar was still living, and was the "one is" spoken of in verse 10.

The Antichrist will be the seventh "king", and according to Revelation 13, he will be assassinated and will give the appearance of death. He will then accompolish a "pseudo-resurrection" and will become the eighth and last king, fulfilling verse 11 above, being the eighth "king", yet one of the seven.

hitler cannot be the beast of revelation because he has departted the scene.
the beast is an organisation that derives its power from the world's governments.
Sadly, it is the United Nations.
Revelation says it died then was revived.
The league of Nations was formed then dissolved, and the United Nations came from that. it matches Revelation.
And the Anglo/American alliance is really a continuation of the Roman empire. It is the very last of the seven heads of the beast that John saw.

The beast is Lucifer, also called the dragon and Satan. He will possess the a man who will be anti-Christ who will rule the entire political world globally. Hitler couldn't have been the Anti-Christ as described in the bible ( although he did have a spirit of anti-christ) because the technology to control global markets and governments were not in place like they are now.

the beast is more into taking over religiously and tricking those into following him and if he is Jesus. It says even the very elect would almost be fooled(however they won't because they have a relationship with Jesus). Also the antichrist will not appear as hostile and brutal, he will be a wolf in lamb's clothing.

Well he was A beast, but not THE beast. The beast will make Hitler look like small potatoes.
