No, my bf and i are in love. I've been with him for over 3 years and he doesn't have it. We don't use condoms and we are ttc our first baby.
I was unlucky to have a lying cheating bf when i was 19 and made a big mistake. It didn't ruin or even really change my life. It just makes me itch very rarely. I only get an outbreak every 6 mos or so.
I've noticed people with oral herpes have more problems then i have. At least no one sees my outbreaks and I can kiss anyone anytime without worrying about passing it along.

Herpes will change your life as much as you let it. Other than an occasional inconvenience here and there due to mild outbreaks, I wouldn't even know that I have it. The biggest change would come from within your own mind. If you have herpes and let yourself become the victim of society, play the 'woe is me'...ask 'why me'....'what did I ever do to deserve this' , then yes, herpes is going to ruin your life.
As with any other speed bump in life, you can either let it break you or make you. Life doesn't end if you contract herpes, it only ends if you allow yourself to think that it does
...or worse yet, let ignorant people who know nothing about the virus dictate how you feel about yourself!!
As far as dating...I can only tell you that the RIGHT person would not reject you because of a skin rash. If anything, it can be used to weed out the people who are genuinely interested in being with you for the right reasons..and not just for a booty call. :)

It seems not herpes. And you'd better see a doctor to make sure, treasure your life. And you should know some knowledge about herpes transmittion here: To infect people, the herpes simplex viruses (both HSV-1 and HSV-2) must access the body through broken skin or a mucous membrane such as inside the mouth or on the genital area. Each virus can be carried in bodily fluids (such saliva, semen, fluid in the female genital tract) or in fluid from herpes sores. The risk for infection is highest with direct contact of blisters or sores during an outbreak Clear to brown /yellow discharge with or no odour is sure sign I am a member of herpesmingle for years. And hope what I provided be useful. Take care.

It is NOT life ruining..... people on here are so dramatic... its not like it will kill you.... its a skin rash that flares up every now and again.. yes it can be painful but there is medication you can take for outbreaks and usually for most people it doesn't flare up that often and lessens every year! some people get it worst then others but usually not the case! when it comes to sex just don't have sex when you have an outbreak and use condoms! Most people have happy healthy life even with herpes.... there are far worst stds and life ruining diseases out there.. trust me herpes is not one of them!

I got identified with herpes (type 2) about four yrs ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I understand loads of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date other men again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/W1FJJ everything improved.
Not only was I able to eliminate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This program provided me the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.
